I don't need three days to decide whether or not I'd keep it... It took me three seconds! What a talent! Quiet Bear is amazing! This flute is good looking yes...but I can't believe the volume, clarity and perfect pitch. Quiet Bear is a HUGE talent.

This G flute has a strong voice and is stronger then all of my other G's. As normal, when you and wood get together, it is like the flute has been in my hands all my life since birth.
This one seems to be like the Rabbit. Rabbits to Cherokee is like the coyote to the Southwestern Indians. Tricksters, and this flute is playing a game with me for finding it's own voice/song. This is very good - for we both learn more this way.
I do not know how your flutes can gain any higher values with me, but they just become richer all the time.

I LOVE MY FLUTE !! It feels good, smells good and is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship! The sound is wonderful. I took a little time and courage for me to get the hang of playing – after being used to a silver flute. The instructional DVD was very helpful. Now I have a good sense of breath control and intention needed for the various parts of the scale and am enjoying playing half hole notes and trills. Now it seems so easy !!

The flute in the key of E has arrived safe and sound. It sounds great and I am really starting to get an appreciation of how the different woods make the feel/ vibration of the flutes different. I really like the kauri wood. I have also heard a drone flute, and those are just awesome also. I bet you have so much fun just trying out all the different flutes you make, and hearing what all the different woods sound like in flute form. Keep up the good work.

Never had such a wonderful Easter egg before!! Yesterday the flute arrived.
It is so beautiful. You are right, this wonderful wood with the magical tiger stripes
can't be seen on a foto. I am very very happy.
The flute sounds so sweet and clear. When I played the flute for the first time yesterday in the evening, I noticed that my guitar standing near me began to "sing" too. It seemed as if it wanted to welcome the flute and answer the clear and powerful call of the flute. Magic.
In Germany winter is back, it's rather cold and there is snow in many parts
of Germany. So the children will find frozen Easter eggs on Sunday.
I guess you've got more comfortable temperatures over there.

Dwight, My flute was at the post office on Saturday but we couldn't pick it up until today. When I held the box, I thought this is too light to have a flute inside. When I opened it up and found the flute--- Oh MY!!!!!! Wow!!! What a beautiful flute with a voice to match!!! Thank you so much! This flute is the best in my collection. I love being able to play soft, hard or in between and the notes are clear. I played this flute until it wetted out. It is resting for a few minutes while I send this note to you. I arrived back at work after a long holiday weekend and found the flute waiting me. After opening the box and digging through the peanuts I found another surprise.. the flute in its own bag. Well I keep unwrapping things to find the beautiful contrasting yellow and black E flute. I liked the burned holes that you must of sealed, that set them off from the Alaskan wood.
The blonde ties were a great choice, as I was thinking you might have used black.. no disappointment in the ties!
Once I was ready, I gave it a slow easy breath and found the back pressure was very nice! The notes were clear! and the tone was very pleasing! You have won my ear.. back to saving pennies toward the next flute (high C or there abouts)

Your guarantee that I would like your "first flute" has proven true. I love the look, feel, sound, and the connection I sense with this creation. My hope is that I may honor those that gave to bring this flute into existence and allow their voice to be expressed with the breath that I supply.
Curious, do you perform smudging ceremony rituals of your flutes during the process of their creation?
Your certificate talks about a 2007 limited edition flute...Wolf and Bear. What key will that be offered in? F#? I am looking forward to that offering.
